Odell Beckham Jr.


To begin, “Odell Beckham Jr. was born in November 5,1992 and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana”. This quote expresses why Odell Beckham Jr. was born a LSU tiger. But before he went to LSU he went to Isidore Newman school, at New Orleans, Louisiana. And he was letterman there in football, basketball, and track. His parents were LSU tigers. Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t always play wide receiver, he also played quarterback, running back, and cornerback for the Greenies football team. As a junior, he caught 45 passes for 743 yards and 20 touchdowns. and as a senior, he hauled in 50 catches for 1,010 yards and 19 touchdowns. Odell Beckham Jr. followed in his mother’s footsteps to excel in the sprinting and jumping events while at Newman High. He got silver in a long jump event at the 2010 Newman Invitational, with a career best jump of 6.83 meters. At the 2010 LA 2A State Meet, he got sixth-place finishes in the 200-meter dash, with a time of 22.31 seconds, and in the long jump, with a jump of 6.71 meters.

Odell Beckham Jr. is athletic. Odell Beckham Jr. was “born with hyper athletic genes”. And from this i learned that Odell beckham Jr. isn’t the only athletic person from his family. Odell Beckham Jr. also has a younger brother, Kordell, and a younger sister, Jasmine. Odell Beckham Jr.’s father was a standout running back at Marshall High school. Odell Beckham Jr.’s dad played running back at LSU from 1989 to 1992. Odell Beckham Jr.’s mom also attended at LSU and was a track runner. And his mom is now a coach of the Nicholls state university track and field team.

The next stage was Odell Beckham Jr. was drafted by the Giants in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. And now plays wide receiver for the New York Giants. Odell Beckham Jr. broke numerous NFL rookie receiving records. in 2016 Odell Beckham Jr. became the fastest player in NFL history.

Several years later, Over three seasons with the New York Giants and the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. has accomplished more than most players hope to achieve in their lifetime.This comment helps me to understand that he trains hard, perseveres, for what he loves and that is football.
