Trump building border on Mexico

According to BBC news¨The 650 miles of fencing already put up has cost the government more than $7bn, and none of it could be described, even charitably, as impenetrable, physical, tall, powerful or beautiful¨. Meaning Trump’s opinion on the wall and how “beautiful” it’s gonna be. I think the wall should not be something Trump should do because there is many people trying to get jobs to feed their families and get money to pay off their bills, i mean that’s what my grandpa and dad did. They risked their life coming to the united states to work just to feed my mom and her 6 siblings.

BBC news says “There are other reasons the costs would be likely to escalate beyond Mr Trump’s price tag, his plans require extending the wall into increasingly remote and mountainous regions, raising the building costs substantially”. Meaning the prices are going up for the wall making people pay more taxes for it. Also the source says “The border is about 1,900 miles (3,100 km) long and traverses all sorts of terrain.Trump says his wall will cover 1,000 miles and natural obstacles will take care of the rest”. Adding even more to the expense BBC news also says, “the new 1,000 miles would criss cross private land, which would have to be purchased, perhaps by legal force, or financial settlements made with owners.A study by the Washington Post estimated the cost of the president’s wall would be closer to $25billion.” Meaning that most of the taxes would go to the wall and they would make Mexico pay for the bill which is a very cruel idea.

Some of the research i found on BBC news about the US-Mexico border region “a delicate ecosystem with regular animal and bird migrations moving between the north and south of the American continent. A number of species need to cross the border to mate with their genetically different cousins, including the endangered North American jaguar and black bears, which would be threatened without being able to mate with Mexican bears”. From that source i found that “the wall would also have to take into account natural flooding zones as well as large areas of sand, where the ground effectively moves. The appearance of a concrete wall up to 50 feet high, Trump said that it will be “very beautiful”. Meaning that most of the animals that live near the river the population may go down because the animals can’t migrate to mate with other animals.

Trump also said that he isn’t gonna accept any more immigrants in the daca program a deal to protect hundreds of thousands of young immigrants who were brought to the country illegally as children is “dead,” President Trump has said. Nearly 800,000 are apart of this program that trump is deciding to send back to Mexico. PResident trump says this tweet according to AOL news ’Mexico is doing very little, if not NOTHING, at stopping people from flowing into Mexico through their Southern Border, and then into the U.S. They laugh at our dumb immigration laws. They must stop the big drug and people flows, or I will stop their cash cow, NAFTA. NEED WALL,” which he said on April 1.

According to BBC news says that “Trump administration announced last year its plan to take out the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) which provides a level of amnesty to certain undocumented immigrants, many of whom came to the U.S. as children – with a six-month delay for recipients. The Trump administration had initially set a March 5 deadline for the program and called on Congress to pass legislation pertaining to the young immigrants. But on Easter Sunday, Trump blasted Mexico and Democrats and declared a deal for DACA was off the table. Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release”. Meaning they would catch illegal immigrants and put them back in Mexico.

In conclusion there’s many reasons why the wall should not become something because there’s so many things that could happen to some of the animals that live by the river, or the 800,000 DACA immigrants trying not to be deported back to their country.
